Terms & Conditions
Terms & Conditions clauses define the conditions which one must accept in order to use the service provided.
TNT Parties can amend or change these terms & conditions at any time. 14 days notice will be provided to all existing customers before any new terms or conditions take full effect.
1. Services & products
1.1. All services and products offered/available through TNT parties are subject to availability.
1.2. If you are booking face painters, bouncy castles, balloon modellers and/or any other forms of entertainment, you should inform TNT parties as this could affect our entertainment service and party format.
1.3. Please refrain from having any play equipment out during the entertainment period.
1.4. All equipment is maintained to a professional standard, PAT tested and wherever possible, backup equipment is available. However, due to the nature of the type of equipment being used, TNT Parties cannot accept liability for any direct or consequential losses arising from equipment failure which is beyond our control. In the event of any equipment failure during the party, the entertainer will discuss with you all available options to ensure the party continues in the most suitable manner.
1.5. On the party date, it is very important that the agreed start and finish times are adhered to due to potential other bookings on the same day. Should you wish the entertainer to start later or remain longer, this is at the discretion of the entertainer and all extra time is payable at the rate agreed by you and the entertainer at that time. Of course, we can move start times around in advance, if possible, at no extra cost.
1.6. It is solely the customer's responsibility to check through all documentation sent to you by TNT parties. You must inform us immediately if anything is, to the best of your knowledge, incorrect.
1.7. All offers/deals that TNT Parties publicises are subject to availability at the time of booking
2. Health & Safety
2.1. The safety of all guests is the sole responsibility of the parents/carers, who must be 18 years or above. Whilst we risk assess all our activities, PAT test our equipment and endeavour to make sure everything is as safe as possible, we accept no liability for loss, injury or damage sustained whilst we are present and insist that at least 1 adult should be present at all times during the party.
2.2. The parent/carer is at all times responsable for the general supervision of the party guests within the venue premises whether at home or at any other location. Including supervision of exits and that children only leave the party venue with their own parent or guardian. The entertainer's responsibility is strictly limited to the supervision of party activities provided by TNT Parties.
2.3. In exceptional circumstances, your TNT parties entertainer may ask the parent/carer to speak with any party guests that they feel are behaving in an unacceptable manner. The entertainer reserves all rights to ask the parent/carer to remove the guest from the party area should they feel it is necessary. Although the entertainer takes control of the party activities and provides entertainment for the children, the children and their actions still remain the full responsibility of their parents/guardians or the customer at all times.
2.4. Although the entertainer will continually ensure the children are made aware not to touch or tamper with any equipment/props, ultimately it is the responsability of the parent/guardian or customer present to keep children at a safe distance at all times.
2.5. The snow and bubble machines specifically use a fluid that can create a slippery floor surface if used too much depending on the type of floor. Therefore, the entertainer reserves the right to cease or decrease the frequency of opperation if he/she deems it unsafe to continue using.
2.6 It is the customer’s responsibility to check that all children attending are not allergic to any types of sweets prior to the party. The entertainer should be made fully aware if there is a child with allergies, however, it is ultimately the customer’s and parent/guardians responsibility to make sure the child with allergies does not eat or touch the sweets provided by the entertainer.
3.1. Upon booking confirmation you are responsible for payment of the full order value
3.2. A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking. Receipt of this payment made to TNT Parties from the customer will be taken as an agreement of TNT Parties Terms & Conditions. The customer may also be requested to verify acknowledgment and agreement of the Terms & Conditions at a later date.
3.3. The remainder of payments are due in full on the day of the party. The balance of the payment must be in cash to the entertainer before, during or immediately after the party.
3.4. Should you fail to meet the payment policy terms, a late payment charge will incur daily at 10% of the total amount charged starting from the day after the party date. In this event payment will be accepted by bank transfer.
4. Venue & parking
4.1. Parties performed outside are always weather permitting. This includes, but is not limited to, previous rainfall, cold temperatures and wet grounds. We reserve the right to assess the area first and also to make a decision based solely on the weather forecast. Please have a back up plan in place just in case.
4.2. Parking must be provided for our entertainers. Any parking charges are payable by the customer. Please have the money ready for your entertainer's arrival as they do not carry cash. Any consequential losses due to failure to provide sufficient parking are also payable by the customer.
4.3. Please ensure that the parking provided is within reasonable proximity to the venue to enable the entertainer to adhere to the agreed start time. It is also important the customer ensures that the venue has a clear space suitable for the entertainer's equipment, party games and disco dancing.
4.4. At least one safe 13 AMP power supply (standard household socket) must be provided for TNT Parties at all venues. The customer must also ensure that the power supply is within no more than 5 metres of the entertainers set up location. The entertainer will supply a suitable extension lead for these circumstances only. If the closest power location is not within 5 metres, it is the customer's responsability to provide a safe and suitable extension lead with RCD unless pre-arranged with TNT Parties.
4.5. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure the venue has the appropriate risk assessments and health & safety procedures in place.
5. Travel problems & snow fall
5.1. Once travelling to you, there is a chance of problems arising, in which case, we will inform you by telephone where possible. Therefore, it is important that you have your mobile with you at all times on the party date in case we need to contact you. We accept no responsibility for any form of travel disruptions such as traffic jams, breakdown (including us), accidents, extreme weather conditions, snow, events, flood, diversions, Satnav failures, protests, acts of nature and/or any other means beyond our control, and any deposit paid may not be refundable.
5.2. If, for any of the above reasons, your entertainer is late arriving, full payment will still be necessary. However, at the entertainer's discretion, we may be able to honour the original length of the party by offering to run over the party finish time if possible or provide a discount.
5.3. In the event of snowfall on your party date, TNT Parties will contact you before we attempt to leave. We may strongly advise you to contact your party guests and cancel your party. TNT Parties will happily work with you to transfer your party to an alternative date when it is hopefully safer to travel. However, if TNT Parties are in a safe position to begin travelling and you do not wish to cancel the party, we will try our best to reach you but with NO GUARANTEE OF ARRIVAL. In this event the deposit paid will remain non-refundable.
6.1. Should you cancel the party booking 90 days or more before the party date, the deposit will be fully refunded. However, should you cancel the party booking within 90 days of the party date, the deposit will be non-refundable. We will of course work with you where possible to secure an alternative date to avoid any cancellation.
6.2. To cancel your booking you must contact TNT Parties by telephone and recieve verbal confirmation that the party has successfully been cancelled. This is to avoid any miscommunication. Answer machine messages are not acceptable. If TNT Parties are not made fully aware of a party cancellation before arrival at the venue, the customer will still be responsible for full payment.
6.3. TNT Parties reserves the right to cancel or amend any booking due to any unforeseen circumstances such as illness, family emergency, bereavement or transport failure.
7. Force Majeure
7.1. While every effort will be made by TNT Parties to carry out any booking, TNT Parties is not liable for failure to provide a product or service and is subject to variation or cancellation if such failure is as a result of Acts of God (including fire, flood, earthquake, storm, hurricane or other natural disaster), gale or tempest restrictions on the use of transport, fuel or power, war, invasion, act of foreign enemies, government sanction, blockage, strike, lockout or interruption or failure of electricity or telephone service, requisitioning storage of materials, transport or labour or any other cause beyond the control of TNT Parties.
